Aoi, guitarist in The GazettE.

While searching for a reference, I realized that Aoi looks pissed - or at least annoyed - in about 99% of his photos. He seems to be trying to pose pretty like a good Jrocker, but there's always something in his eyes that says, "Quit staring at me, motherfucker."

I respect that. :D

Their music does rock - I really need to buy their albums so I can be a legit fan.:giggle:

You should draw him, it's great fun drawing people you admire (in fact, that's all I do - I'm a snob like that). Warning though: Gazette's promotional photos tend to be airbrushed to hell. I had to improvise most of the shadows on his face. The airbrushing people have this annoying habit of completely obliterating noses. Which pisses me off, because I want to see Aoi's (or whoever's) FACE, not some doll version of it. Grrr

your welcome I have drawn a couple of J rockers in the past eg, Ruki 2 time, kai, reita (turned out poor) and gackt for a friend. Ya i know they airbrush there photos cause no one has perfect skin like that LOL! anywho if ya get time could you have a look at my gallery plz :D

Yeah, I posted that comment before checking out your gallery, and it turns out you're awesome :D

Your Cloud looks like it's going to be effing AMAZING. I have it in my head to draw Cloud as a real person (you know how the AC Cloud is kinda between anime and realism). But if that happens it will probably be a while, cuz I'm just finishing Kai, I should do Uruha to finish the set, and I have a half-done Miyavi...

But yeah, I'll be checking back to see how Cloud is doing. :excited:
